Reviews
this is the most disgusting Chinese food place I ever been, they still keep the old restaurant there but actually, it is a totally different restaurant, I used to go this restaurant a lot, just back to NYC last year, and this time time it really surprised me
The the meats of Double cook pork belly not only change color so much has the white spots on it, and the fish soup is tasted totally reheated. I am not sure how can they use the old name on Google Maps, but actually is totally new different restaurant
I feel so sorry the food used to be really good but that would be the new owner changing everything, the most important day is really low quality than Panda Express
Now I and my family are both feeling sick this morning, and I think I will need to report to food safety to related government organizations.
Went there on my lunch break hoping to have a nice lunch away from work, given that I always eat in. I had a terrible lunch, first the menu says that they have daily lunch specials it doesn’t say no weekends and they wouldn’t serve me it unless it was ordered to-go, I was disappointed. I still stayed there to order the steamed dumplings they informed me after I had already put in the order it would take 20 mins to prep. So I waited and also ordered the Diced fried fish, it was one the worst foods I’ve ever eaten, very dry, fried with hot peppers. The menu didn’t specify the ingredients. I ended up leaving super angry due that I still had to pay very pricey meal I didn’t eat nor enjoy.
AVOID! This place used to be really good, but friends and I have noticed a major decline. Chicken has gotten fattier and the food quality just isn't what it once was.
The service was never outstanding but the other day I ordered online (2 dishes 2 soups), it said it would be ready in 20 mins. I went to pick it up and the guy told me it would take another 10 minutes. I ended up waiting 40 minutes in the store for a pickup - IT TOOK AN HOUR! I told the guy it was unacceptable and he just stared at me blankly. Good riddance.
Really friendly, quick, and great local Szechuan spot.
While not on Szechuan row, this place makes several dishes really well and even makes it extra mala for me when I ask.
I order here usually at least once, sometimes twice a week. I really like:
-ChongQing Spicy Chicken
-Parched Chicken with Three Pepper
-Gui Zhou spicy Chicken
-Spicy Whole Green Pepper
I am less of a fan of their cucumber salad and their mapo tofu, but plenty of other dishes to keep me happy.
If you like spice, I recommend you skip the American Chinese Food and try something off the special dishes menu, which is primarily Sichuan style food.
We got general tso’s chicken, Spicy chicken and Chinese broccoli, noodle soup, and dumplings. The food was very good. It was made to order, came out very hot, tasting very fresh. There was no wait and the staff was friendly.
Brilliant service and cuisine on Christmas Day 2021. We ordered the orange beef and Sautéed Pea Shoots with hot green tea of course. Everything was delightful and I was very happy to stop and enjoy their restaurant. Definitely will head back soon.
The pork soup dumplings here are delicious and my favorite dish to order. But many dishes here are good. Fried rice is pretty good, lo mein is pretty good (though not my favorite). Really loved the Gui Zhou spicy chicken. Beef with green peppers is very tasty. The king pao chicken was also good.
The soup dumplings are smaller and not as good when you deliver, but that's a necessity because the real ones wouldn't stay in tact on the trip. They're still good delivered but I highly recommend dining in to have them.
I just ordered their version of "La zi ji" the fried chicken pieces with spicy chilies and I kid you not, half of it was just the dried chilies and peanuts (which you can see, I fished out). It wasn't even spicy at all and I love spicy. Had I known they put peanuts in it, I wouldn't have gotten it. Was better off ordering it in Queens where my friend orders his. Absolute disappointment.
